Leasing Questions
No appointment is necessary to tour our community; however, it is always appreciated if you call ahead to ensure we are available to provide adequate time for you to tour and ask questions. Please arrive no later than one-half hour before closing if you would like to tour the property. Everyone over 18 must have a valid photo ID to tour the community. We also offer self-guided tours scheduled through Rently!
Our apartment homes are priced individually based on the amenities and features.
Application fees are $50 per person 18 and older occupying the home. There is a $100 hold fee due at the time of application. You may pay these online by credit or debit card. All application and hold fees are non-refundable.
Click on 'Login' in the upper right hand corner of our website, then click on 'Applicant.' Easily create an account and conveniently apply online through the applicant portal.
Bloomfield Townhomes provides snow removal on the roadways and sidewalks and landscaping. Residents are responsible for their gas, electricity, cable, and for shoveling their driveways. Water and sewer are at a flat rate ranging between $45 and $55 per month based on the size of the townhome, and trash is $10 per month.
Bloomfield Townhomes' Security deposit starts at $500.00. It can range up to 1 ½ months’ rent depending upon credit and rental history and is refunded within 30 days from our corporate office if there are no damages at the time of move out.
Rent is always due on the first, and a $75.00 late fee is assessed at 6:01 PM on the third of the month (even on weekends and holidays).
You can pay rent by setting up your online account on our website. This allows you to use a bank account (no fee) or credit card (with fee) to make payments.
At Bloomfield Townhomes, we welcome up to 2 pets. Cats or dogs are allowed. Breed restrictions apply; please get in touch with the office for further information regarding these restrictions. There is a $300.00 nonrefundable fee for the 1st pet and a $200.00 nonrefundable fee for the second pet. The monthly pet rent per pet is $30.00.
Resident Questions
Service members can break their lease without penalty in certain circumstances through the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). Please get in touch with the property manager as soon as possible in this situation. You must provide written notice and a copy of your military orders.
Please let our office know if you love our apartments and want to refer a friend! We offer resident referral programs throughout the year and would love for your friends and family to join our community.
You may call the office, send an e-mail, or leave a message with the answering service. You may also submit work orders online if enrolled in our online services.
If someone is temporarily staying with you, please let the office know so we can accommodate parking. If someone is permanently moving in or staying longer than seven days, they must fill out an application to be added to your lease agreement.
We require a 60-day written notice, which you are responsible for, before moving out. If you need to move out at the end of your lease term, please remember to come in 60 days before the lease expires to provide your written notice.
Charcoal grills are prohibited. However, you may have an electric grill or a gas grill with a 1-lb propane tank on your balcony as permissible by Bloomfield Townhomes, Gaines Charter Township, and Dutton Fire Department. Any propane tank larger than 1 lb is prohibited and could be subject to fines from the township, fire department, and Bloomfield Townhomes.
If you have lost your key(s), remote(s) or pool/fitness access card, then you may obtain new key(s), remote(s) or pool/fitness access card at our office during business hours. Fees apply.
