Do I need an appointment? Do you take walk-ins? Appointments and walk ins are welcome. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM with our latest showing at 5:30 PM, and Saturdays we are open from 10 AM to 2 PM by appointment since there is only one of us here at that time. Everyone over 18 must have a valid photo ID to tour the community.
Why do your prices have ranges? The prices will range on each floor plan depending on the style, size, if you have a one or two stall garage, and updates done inside the home. Updated units may include newer flooring, countertops, kitchen appliances, lighting, and faucets.
What is the application fee and is it refundable? Application fees are $50 per person 18 and older occupying the home. You may pay these online by credit card or in our office with a cashier’s check. All application fees are non-refundable.
How do I apply? You can apply online by finding the "Apply Now" button on the right-hand side of the main menu on our property website, or click here to apply now.
Which utilities do I pay? Trash, and snow removal and landscaping are provided by Bloomfield Townhomes. Residents are responsible for their own gas, electric, cable, and phone. Water/sewer are a flat rate.
Do you have cable/Internet services? Residents may choose from Xfinity or AT&T. If you choose to have a satellite dish, then you will need to provide proof of $100,000 liability insurance and pay a deposit of $100.00. The dish must be installed per the Satellite Addendum provided by Bloomfield Townhomes.
What is the security deposit? Bloomfield Townhomes Security deposit is $600.00 to 1 ½ month’s rent depending upon credit and rental history and is refunded within 30 days from our corporate office if there are no damages at the time of move out.
What kind of pets do you allow? How many pets may I have? At Bloomfield Townhomes, we welcome up to 2 pets. Cats or dogs are allowed. Breed restrictions apply, please contact the office for further information regarding these restrictions. There is a $300.00 nonrefundable fee for the 1st pet and a $200.00 nonrefundable fee for the second pet. The monthly pet rent per pet is $25.00 per month for a cat, and $35.00 per month for a dog.
When is my rent payment due? Rent is always due on or before the first of the month.
What day of the month am I liable for a late charge? Rent is always due on the first and a $75.00 late fee is assessed at 6:01 PM on the third of the month (even on weekends and holidays).
How can I pay my rent? You can pay rent by setting up your resident account on our property website. This allows you to use a bank account or credit card to make payments.
How can I refer a friend? If you love Bloomfield Townhomes and want to refer a friend, please let our office know! Also when your friend comes in to inquire or apply please have them note your name for how they heard about us. We offer resident referral programs throughout the year and would love for your friends and family to join our community.
If something needs to be repaired in my apartment, how do I report it? You may call the office, send an e-mail, or leave a message on the answering machine. You may also submit work orders online if you are enrolled in our online services.
There is a person who might be staying with me for a while, is that permitted by the lease? If someone is temporarily staying with you for more than 7 days, please let the office know. If someone is permanently moving in, they will need to fill out an application to be added to your lease agreement.
I will be moving out. What do I need to do? If you are ready to move-out at the end of your lease term, please remember to come in 60 days prior to the lease expiring to provide your written notice.
Can I grill on property? Charcoal grills are prohibited. However, you may have an electric grill, or a gas grill with a 1-lb propane tank on the back/center position of your balcony as permissible by Bloomfield Townhomes, Gaines Charter Township, and Dutton Fire Department. Any propane tank larger than 1-lb is prohibited and could be subject to fines from the township, fire department, and Bloomfield Townhomes.
I’ve lost my apartment and/or mailbox keys. What do I do? If you have lost your key(s), remote(s) or pool/fitness card, then you may obtain new key(s), remote(s) or pool/fitness access card at our office during business hours. Fees apply.
Lived here for around 4 months now, very pleased so far.
I have not had great customer service like this in years! I am so used to having to push for for the bare minimum service and you provided it without my prompt. Such a breath of fresh air!

Outstanding place to live. The management and office team are on the ball, the maintenance team are fast, friendly and competent. The property is kept up very well and any issues that I have brought up have been taken care of immediately. They really understand customer service too, which is sorely lacking these days.
